Workshop I

Malta 3-4.12.2019

The first workshop was held in Malta and it lasted 2 days. The workshop was dedicated to the specific aspects of board-level participation of trade unionists and cooperation with employers side, legal aspects of EU and national law. The meeting was attended by 18 persons from the partner's organization.

The meeting was split into two days. On the first day of the meeting, all representatives had the opportunity to listen to the presentation of the national report made in Malta. After the presentation discussion ensued and all participants expressed their opinions about the presented results. In the second part of the meeting, the expert introduced all participants with the basic context of SWOT analysis and SWOT analysis of national arrangements of BLER.

The second day of the meeting was reserved for the presentation of the SWOT analysis by the national groups and discussion on the results of the SWOT analysis. During the meeting, all participants had an equal chance to express their opinion and give suggestions, on this topic. The programs of the meeting were ensured specific needs and included a high level of expertise based on the experience of researchers and professional trainers specialized in EU law, employee involvement and cooperation between social partners. Before the meeting, all participants were asked to prepare for meetings and get familiar with the findings of the analysis conducted in their countries.
